Inside the performance
Oru works with tape, bowed metal and the small variations that appear when a phrase is repeated. The Long Now is a listening practice as much as a performance.
Sunday begins slowly. A handful of tones are stretched, folded and allowed to disappear. The audience is invited to settle in without a screen or a schedule for an hour.
Seated session, low light and no strobe. Late entry is possible between passages. Please speak to the room host if you need a seat near the exit.
