Inside the performance
Soft Vector is a collaboration between a sound artist and a moving-image maker. Their hand-built oscillators send the same signals to speakers and light, making an image you can hear and a rhythm you can see.
This live audiovisual performance begins with a single line and ends in a field of colour. Each iteration is performed in response to the room.
Standing performance. Flashing images are used throughout. Staff can advise on quieter viewing positions before entry.
